I'd go wave "Hi" to the Rovers and see whether NASA releases the pics 🙂

Definitely the moon, unfortunately the other planets would shake and bake or deep freeze any suits we can build now.

Edit: but grabbing a HD cam and jaunting to a high orbit over Juper, Saturn, etc. would be all kinds of fun.
with or without a suit?

is this teleportation instantaneously or does it take a few minutes or what?

Getting a suit good enough for Mars and vacuum wouldn't be hard since it wouldn't have to be as flexible as a NASA suit.

Hopefully jaunting is some form of FTL. Otherwise you either age years travelling or at least get years out of step with the rest of the world when you to other star systems (an 8.6 year round-trip to the Alpha Centauri systen).

When we "will" ourselves to where we are going, do our clothes go with us or are we naked when we get there?

I'd take a picture of empty sky at 13,000 feet and securely fasten it to myself. Then I'd put on a wingsuit and parachute and will myself up into the air. I could keep flying forever 'portal style'. whenever i got close to the ground i could will myself back into the air.

This gift would also allow you to fly if you can jaunt near-continuosly, since you could will yourself along a path in the air location by location.

Assuming I wasn't disected by the government, I'd volunteer to fedex some observation satellites and Rovers to the nearer star systems, then pick up the results so we don't have to wait years for radio.

Agreed. Since NASA wouldn't have to worry about designing for delivery, they could really let loose and build some amazing stuff to send around. Much better rovers for the rest of the solar system, enough supplies could be brought to the moon to establish a lunar base. A space station could be designed and fabricated much quicker.

The good that an ability like that could do for humanity is unimaginable.

While waiting, I'd see the whole damn world. With a little creative thought you could get by for zero dollars or at the very least just buy your own damn food and zip home from Europe every night to sleep in your own bed. Hell, teleport yourself to a remote beach and crash there every night. The possibilities are endless.

No power is better than invisibility + teleport + fly + reading minds + being able to cook breakfast with your mind.
