If you could program you own browser what would it have in it?

If you knew how to program anything you wanted, what features would you put into you own personalized web browser?

Like me, for example, would have a quick switch button so when my dad had to use my computer it would change to big ass fonts and load up his personal favorites, and then with a click of a button it would change back to my favorites and my own fonts, or skin or whatever.... just throwing out some ideas.

You can do it by using different accounts in XP. It is called quick user switching, and it literally takes a couple of seconds to switch to a different user.

It is not an easy task to design a good web browser... IE is pretty much perfect for my needs. I don't need any skinning or tabbed interface.

Profiles - That way each user has there own settings and Favorites without logging in again. I get tired of 900 favorites for baby crap, online kids games and flowers cause the wife and kids use the 'puter.
Mouse Movements - Opera 6 has it. You hold the button, move the mouse and something happens. I love that.
Cross platform - It works. On anything. PC, *nix, Mac. It just does.

Thats the big ones, there'd be a bunch of smaller stuff too.

I agree. Although there are a few things you gotta dig in deep to figure out, or find. (Such as the scripting files) But I LOVE reading up on it, going through the forums, and learning more.

The builtin pop up blocker, as long as I can customize it. Like a built in ad aware. A built in search / save feature, so I could save all of a certain defined type of item from a webpage or website.
Example... Save all .gif images from anadtech.com. Or, search and save all .jpg's from one webpage located on Anadtech. Something like that. A built in Flash saver (You know, to save those kick ass Flash movies that are protected)

Mozilla is by far the closest thing to perfection to me, but even it has lots of issues. It's hard to think of things off hand, but lots of behavioral issues, lots of extra crap built in that I don't want, various other stuff. Mozilla's as good as it gets for me though, and 99% of the time I like it.
