If you could pick one of five premium channels, which would you pick?

# Cinemax
# Starz!
# Showtime
# The Movie Channel

Which would you pick and why?

I'm torn between HBO because of their shows and Starz because they seem to play the best selection of movies from my past experience.

Guess I should add that whatever I pick I'll also get an HD version, I'm going with Comcast HD DVR and the package allows me only one included.

Fox News. That, TLC, and the History Channel are the only reasons I would consider getting cable.

Well I don't really care either but since it's actually cheaper with the package I'm getting that includes a premium channel, then I figure I might aswell make the best of it.

Movies are getting better but Entourage/Sopranos/Deadwood etc. are the real reason.

Ask for HBO free for 6 months. They had a promotion for me with that then I got Starz. I like the movies best on Starz but that is not to say that the HBO movies are bad. With all those channels of HBO, there is something to watch and if you enjoy the HBO programming, then HBO is the clear winner.

that's the main reason i'd want showtime. though i voted hbo, since that is what i did end up getting.

Not a huge fan of any media you have to pay for But if I had to choose, I'd go with HBO... they have some decent shows every now and then I've been known to download.
