If you could have any car to drive from the Yukon to Key West, what would it be?

You'd only be allowed to stop 5 minutes for gas (per fill up) and for 8 hours for sleep per day. It's kind of a test of the ultimate comfort vehicle. It would have to be capable of making the journey.

Here is the route.

What would you pick? I'd go with an SL-600. I'd like a GT-40, but I don't think it could handle the trip.

BMW Z4. Probably wouldn't be the most comfortable ride for 4000+ miles, but it would be quite fun. :D

nuff' said. :)

Could it handle the long stretches without fuel stops?

This looks pretty good for 4500 miles:

Tank: 28.6
Fuel Effiency: 12/17

sooo...

343.2 - 486.2 miles per fill up.

Thats about a total of 9-13 Fill Ups.

Paint job would last 5 seconds on Yukon roads ;)

I'd be happy in my little Vitara Convertible, probably need a couple more fuel fill ups during the trip then other larger trucks.

Audi A8 4.0 TDI quattro.

Could make the whole trip and only fill up 7 times, and ride in style, comfort, and safety.

A Maybach does seem like a short-list choice. An S-class would be nice, too, or an A8. An XJ-R would also do the job. I guess a fast SUV, like an FX45 or X5 4.6 would work.

There are places where the roads arent very good. I'm thinking a QX56 might be nice.
