If you could go back to any point in time, what point of time would you choose and why

I'd have to go back to 1924 when Mallory and Irvin where on Everest, right before they vanished so I could know if they made the summit.

I am a big fan of history but I would rather stay here. If I could just observe without making any changes in the timeline I could never decide on any one time. There is too much that I want to know.

Ancient Egypt to see how they actually built the pyramids.

Actually, there are too many times and places I would like to go, so it would be a very difficult decision.

The grassy knowle, and see if there really was a shooter there. Then then during the time of Jesus, to see if it is all true or just a bunch of stories that where embellished over time.

I'd have to say the 1860'swhen Abe Lincoln was president. It was the most important time in the US, maybe the worlds, history.

I say leave history untouched. The idea of going back and witnessing the amazing moments of history is appealing; but for me, I'd have to go back to the very moment when my husband first asked me out--and plant that big wet one on him that I had wanted to give him at the time, but never did. I will always regret that.
Of course, I've made up for it many times;)
