If you could bring back from the dead any five famous people

You have a thing for bringing back the dead? Must have a rejuvenator in your basement🙂

How about five famous musicians

SRV
Hendrix
Janis
Lennon
Elvis

5 musicians?

take out SRV for Garcia and I will agree with ya.

edit: Princess Diana should be on someone's list.

My grandmother. She's not famous to anyone outside of our village, but next time be more specific. 😛

Nostradamos-I'll ask him about past and future predictions.
George Washington/Ben Franklin-I'll ask him what he thinks of this country now.
Albert Einstein-Ask him about things.
John F Kennedy-ask him about any conspiracy
Mozart/Bach-Ask them what they think about music now.

My grandfather (I know, not famous, but he's my grandfather🙂)
Mother Theresa
Dimebag Darrell
Randy Rhoads
Cliff Burton

Damn! 2 changes, Cliff Burton and Cash would substitue SRV and Janis.

Muhammed
Stalin
Hitler
Mao
Pol Pot

Once I bring them back from the dead, I would build a perpetual torture machine to keep them busy and charge folks money to watch them fry.

jesus - to find out if he really is God
bobby kennedy - so he could be the next president and save us
albert einstein - so he can figure out more stuff
isaac newton - for the same reason as einstein
mohammad - so he can set the world straight on what it means to be a muslim

i wouldn't bring back any musicians like lennon because i'd rather their musical legacies stay unaltered. i'd hate for lennon to come back and put out something terrible, thereby cheapening his music. it's like metallica... no one likes metallica (unless you're a porch-sitting white guy who likes wearing black and smoke cigarettes) anymore because they're awful. it cheapened anything good they did.

i wouldn't bring back any past "great" presidents because what's the point? america and the world has changed GREATLY since the framers came up with the constitution, the civil war, the vietnam war, and the advancement of women's/black rights. they would probably not know a damn thing to say, do, or talk about. in fact, they'd probably get sick of america and go to england and live there instead.

i was thinking about maybe bringing back the founder of the illuminati or free masons, but what good would that do? what would i say? what would they know about what's going on today? nothing...

so, there we go... that's my list....

Agree on musicians.

Disagree on Einstein and Newton. Both, like your Presidents comment, would be too far behind to be of much use. I was watching one of the PBS String Theory episodes(IIRC) and they talked about Einstein and how he tried to develope the Unified Theory, but had gone off in a direction that was pretty much already known as a dead end. He persisted until his death, but the rest of science had pretty much expanded far beyond him by his death.

Great minds are often only capable of producing a few great ideas. They don't necessarily keep coming up with ideas afterwards though.
