If you choose WYSIWYG message editing your posts come out screwy!

I chose this option and sometimes I get all this weird FONT formatting text inserted in my messages. I solved this yesterday by unchecking the WYSIWYG checkbox in my profile preferences. This has got to be a bug in the software. It's embarassing to have that stuff appear in your messages and I couldn't find another workaround.

The WYSIWYG Editor has always been like that. That's why I've never used it.

Too many problems.

It has nothing to do with the editor, its when you paste from word or some other app that has all that font crap hidden. The editor just takes what you give it, and it takes ALL of what you give it, use notepad and you wont get a thing.

OK, I guess maybe that's what was going on. I use Metapad for text documents. I'll make a point of using Notepad when I want to compose my post for Anandtech, assuming I go back to the WYSIWYG setting for composing posts.
