If you can replace the thermal compound on your GPU

I highly recommend it. I know there have been several threads in the past about it, but I just did it on my gtx560 twin frozr III card and immediately observed a 7 degree drop in temps with all other things being the same in a unigine heaven run through. The old past was hard and thick and obviously not working effectively.

So all you need is 15 minutes, a small screw driver, and some decent thermal paste from newegg or amazon! Enjoy the lower temps and quieter fan noise!
