If you broke your finger while clocking out...

Let's say you were at work and clocking out. While hitting the LAST button needed to submit your pin/ssn/password/employee #/whatever, you BREAK your finger. Don't ask how, it just happens through some anti-miracle.

Do you think your employer would cover this under worker's compensation?

edit: Please hold the punchcard/exempt/don't use my fingers not possible/doesn't apply/etc. type comments. It's a thought experiment.

No because anyone lame enough to break a finger while clocking out most likely would have gotten fired long ago for excessive lameness.
