It is just sad that there are evil people in the world, who are taking advantage over the incident that occurred to Notre Dame. These evil people are scamming donators with false promises, stating that the donated money is going to the repair effort for Notre Dame. Some of these evil people are even taking bank account information from the victim donators.

Please be careful when donating money, and do not become a victim to a donation scam. I found this nice news article/guide for those that wish to donate money. It talks about the concern over this scam, and tips on how you can avoid it.

There's also a lot of scam charities. Like the "Police Action Fund" charity scam. There's a similar one for firefighters. I get phone calls from these two every day.

Didn't a few French billionaires already donate enough money to rebuild Notre Dame a few times over at this point? Last I heard, they already have a billion dollars in the fund.

Maybe they'll take the extra and build a soccer stadium with it... which is true modern day religion of the French
