I have played eq when it was release( and the beta a bit) for around 1 month.

A few things pissed me off in EQ and im just wondering if those things got fixed.

1)The XP shared debt system. If you were in full group, and your group get whipped out, every member of the group receive a chunk of debt of every member, which mean if your chunk is 3% debt..then you get around 18% debt to work because your teammates died.My question.....doest this chunk got reduced a bit/or change????

2)I saw that now you can sell items while not in your home or online.Thats good. But im wondering if the booker system still in place( different booker were selling different stuff)

3)Instance zone. Are you still cap that u cannot enter a "zone area" with your member once per 3 hours like? That was sooooo stupid.

4)6800 gt card user issues.Iv read a bit on the forums that the issues are still in place.True??

5) Soloing experience. When i was lvl 20 with my paladin, soloing was absolutly not giving me xp on a mob that was conning my lvl..is it still that hard to get xp soloing?

Thats about it for the questions i was asking myself. Thanks in advance if you can answer them.

1) yes, the xp debt was DRASTICALLY reduced... i can't remember, but i think a full party wipeout if you recover your own shard only gives like 5% total xp debt

2) Yes, you can do offline selling now. I'm not sure what you mean broker system... they use to be in different areas of the cities and such, but they all sold the same thing (because they all listed the players auctions). The only differences amongsts brokers were the Qeynos ones and the Freeport ones (the only sold their respective cities).

3) I've NEVER experienced this before. Was it for a guild or raid instance?

4) Supposedly... but my iXPS2 has a 6800Ultra, and i play at 1920x1200 on Very High settings just fine.

5) You can solo, probably better than before. There's a thing called 'Adventuring' now or something like that. Every hour on the hour, 2.5% of your xp that you gain, will be doubled. So say you slept 12 hrs and log in the next day, you'll get 25% Adventuring XP or whatever they call it... so that for the next 25% that you gain, you'll gain double. They've also increased the number of solo mobs in the zones, so finding mobs to solo are easy.

For the 3rd question.I dont remember what they were call, but they were area were only your group of 6 member were allowed to hunt( i dont remember the name of the place...one was close to BlackBurrow.)And once you had enter this zone, it was impossible for you to get out, because you were not allowed to go abck in for a certain period of time.

For the 5tf question im happy that they copy a bit WoW hehe

Happy to heard that the stupid xp debt have been work out.I was soo piss once....2 group wiipeout....nearly half a lvl of debt...yeeee

Yes, the XP was drastically reduced, as Looney stated. XP debt only becomes annoying above level 45 though, where 1% debt will take 5% regular XP to get rid of. Below that, it goes away real quick through the course of normal XPing. In addition, when you log off, your debt decreases. One of those handy little features to thwart power gamers. Whereas they have to work through all their debt, us regular people can singly log and relog the next day to a fresh slate. :)

2)I saw that now you can sell items while not in your home or online.Thats good. But im wondering if the booker system still in place( different booker were selling different stuff)

I think you mean broker system. You still have to return to your home every 24 hours in order to keep your shop active. The only brokers that sold different stuff were Qeynos and Freeport. Brokers in Qeynos sold goods made by Qeynos citizens and Freeport brokers sold goods made by Freeport citizens.

3)Instance zone. Are you still cap that u cannot enter a "zone area" with your member once per 3 hours like? That was sooooo stupid.

Not sure what you are refering to. The only instance areas I encountered were those relating to access quests. Those used to be on 8 hours timers, but that has since been reduced to 3. Good incentive to go in there with a good group. :)

4)6800 gt card user issues.Iv read a bit on the forums that the issues are still in place.True??

I have a 6800GT and run EQ2 at 1680x1050, with customized performance settings. Everything relating to character detail is maxed, terrain textures are on medium, though I sometimes bump that up to High/Maximum if I intend to spend a lot of time outside the cities. All the building textures and such inside the city will bring my system to its knees if I leave the terrain textures on max inside a city. I've read that other players have having jittery/choppy issues with their 6800GTs, but I've only experienced those inside a city with a lot of characters around, and then its to be expected.

5) Soloing experience. When i was lvl 20 with my paladin, soloing was absolutly not giving me xp on a mob that was conning my lvl..is it still that hard to get xp soloing?

Solo experience has been repeatedly increased. I believe Looney was refering to Vitality. As you gain normal exp, your vitality is converted to exp as well, effectively doubling the amount of xp gained. It takes about a week to recharge from 0 vitality to 100% vitality, usually gained around 8% every 12 hours. Leveling with a smaller group of 2 to 4 people also increases exp gain per kill.

While, its possible to solo and I know people that have soloed from levels 48 to 50, its not the ideal way to level. EQ2 is designed to be a very group oriented game, as an MMO should be. If you want to gain exp quickly, you should get in a group. You can solo, its just going to be very slow, as it should be.

You must have 2 GB of ram then. EQ2 takes more than 1 GB when running in very high mode.

1)I hardly notice this now... you get maybe 1% per member once they collect their shard

2)all brokers sell the goods from players, they never sold different goods besides the 2 factions

3)zone im in right now is 12 hours, it prevents farming so I agree with it

4)only one in guild has a problem, others all work find

5)im soloing on my 40 paladin right now, make perhaps 10% per hour on vitality. grouping is still better, but you can solo easily now since they changed over half of the mobs (as high as 75%) in the outside zones to solo... even Lavastorm and Everfrost

1) I'm a 47 Fury and if I'm involved in a group wipe I'll end up with about 3% debt total (after the shard rescue)

2) Yes the brokers still work the same way. You can sell stuff while not in your room, although you have to visit your room once every 24 hours to keep selling (and pick up your money!)

3) Raid instances are like that to prevent too much master chest loot from getting into the world, but there are other places to go, and plenty of other raid instances to visit :)

4) My rig: "Clawhammer" 3200+/2GB PC3500/6800 GT 256MB/RAID 0 2 x 74GB Raptors. No stuttering or other issues. I commonly run at High detail, although I keep shadows turned off.

5) Soloing is still not the way to level up your character. They DID make it so you get more xp while soloing or in a group of 2 or 3 but unless you've got 1 or 2 friends your level (or willing to mentor down which will give you more bonus xp if they mentor you) then it's best to be in a full group and just kill, kill, quest, quest, kill, kill, if you want fast, happy, and juicy xp goodness.
