That does not make sense at all. How would someone else accepting the payment for you help you at all?

If you stated you don't accept CC payment and the buyer is illiterate, just reject payment and fire an email to the dumb ass stating to him in bold CAPs that you only accept direct bank transfer payment.

That won't work because if you have a Paypal Premier/Business account, fees are deducted from ALL payments regardless of funding source.

So even if the guy sends me cc Paypal and I send you non-cc Paypal ... guess what? You will still be deducted fees.

Ain't Paypal grand?

How would it be any different? Actually he'd get DOUBLE hosed:

1) eBay buyer sends cc Paypal to Xionide and FEES ARE DEDUCTED
2) Xionide sends non-cc Paypal to AnImuS and FEES ARE DEDUCTED AGAIN

refuse the payment and have the non-reading idiot either resend the right way or send you a money order. you would be wise to setup a 2nd paypal account to accept CC payments though, it will make your life a lot easier if you continue to sell on ebay.

don't even get me started on people who can't comprehend what it means to have a confirmed address.

Let me ask you this.
If you have a FREE Paypal account...can you accept both CC and non-CC payments ??
Or does Paypal make you upgrade your FREE account if you accept CC payment ??

Yeah, I had a FREE accoount for the longest time until I got a payment that require upgrading(I think it was because its over $500).

But you know what I made another FREE account so now I can use one for Ebay and the other one for non-CC transaction.

Just figure in the cost and fees into your selling price and you won't have to deal with this.

The more options you give the buyer, the easier it will be to sell your items. Which means more bids- which means more $$$...

IMHO

Yep and it's perfectly within Paypal's terms and conditions to have TWO Paypal accounts.

One personal and one premier/business.

i am able to accept CC paypal payments and am willing to do this if you still need it. However like othrs have stated you will be hosed by the fees. Also adding to the cost of the overall auction to make up for the lost fees is against Paypals policy.
