I just cleaned up four 17inchers with blizzak tires for my A6 for the winter.

I got these for dirt cheap - how are AT Italia Rims? I know blizzak tires are pretty decent.
Also, what's the best way to store these rims/tires, until I need them. stack them on top of each other? any help - appreciated.

Now for my Bike. I just tuned the bike myself and got all the gears to work, i'm quite happy about it. Now, all I need to do is learn how to true the wheels ( anyone know of any sites to learn? )

UCSB has an outdoor "bike shop" where they'll loan you tools and show you how to do stuff. Between the guys who work there and a very mean (but very helpful) local bike shop owner/mechanic, I learned to build up and true my own MTB wheels. It's not too hard.

It's easier with a truing stand/jig, but I do it on my bike using the brake pads as guides these days and it works fine.

I'm not sure if road bikes a lot different. I'm also not sure it'd be all that easy to learn from a book or Web site.

Good luck!

To true your wheels, tighten the nipples where the spokes meet either the rim or the hub (depending on your wheels) opposite where the wheel is out of true. I use the brakes as a guide, and you may need a special wrench.

IMHO, it's much, much harder than it looks. I'd gladly pay $10 to have it done.

Looks nice, I just put some Panaracer XC Fire Pro's on my MTB, the ones with the red side walls. Against my bright yellow frame it sure does look slick!

Seal them in plastic bags.

Truing wheels can be a bitch if you don't know what you're doing.
You can do more harm than good if you get carried away....
