That's where I'd head, if I could get out of Chicago. I have family out there, and we have a cabin near Custer and my Grandma's place is near the Badlands. It's remote and I know the area pretty well.

I imagine the AFB would be hit pretty hard, so I wouldn't actually want to be in Box Elder or Rapid City.

anyways, i would prefer residential base, large street, many windows, a nice silent sniper rifle, and a small Mp5-type gun with plenty of clips and pistols for on the go. shotguns for front door [no back door... but basement... i guess will be rigged with some things ready to blow. pocket knife and a silenced gun for just roaming the streets. if they dont bother me, i wont bother them. if they're storming houses and such, i'll be ready.
