if u find $100 ........

Unless there's a decent chance of returning it to its rightful owner, why not keep it? If the person who lost it isn't going to recover it, someone else will keep it anyway.

It depends on your implied meaning of "find." Did you find it on the sidewalk or in someone's wallet?

take it, unless you saw the person drop it.

my wife and i were out at a bar a few years ago. it was on a large pier with a band and such. i saw a bill fluttering along the wood, and picked it up. lo and behold, it was crisp $100 bill. we had a great time.

Actually, that just happened to me recently. I found a female wallet with $80+ in it; but, being the nice and honest guy that I am, I found the ID inside and returned it. I value honor, and thus, I work to preserve it.

However, if I found a lone $100 bill with no trace of a wallet or ID, I'd definitely keep it.

well, if there's a wallet and an id....no, i'd return it. you'd be a jackass for not doing so. or at least making an attempt to

call me what you want, but one day, i was walking out of a theater when i notice a bit of green on the ground, i picked it up without even inspecting it farther.

went to the car and pulled it out of my pocket and it was 34 $20.00 bills in a roll.

ya, i spent it. i made NO attempt to find the owner, it was a roll of cash NO ID. ::shrug:: if that makes me a crook?

depends on where and how i found it. if i know exactly who it is from i'd give it back. else take it b/c if i go around and try to find the owner i'm sure there would be many...
