If Tuvok is a security officer, why can Picard kick his ass?

Freaking hate it when shows do this.

So he grows some pointy ears and is a security officer, a step up for a thief

Kind of how that blonde girl in CHiPs was a thief, then a few episodes later a cop

Or in Adam 12 when they bust that dude stealing a bicycle, and the next season was a cop

What kills me is Tim Russ delivers his lines the exact same in both series lol

Tim Russ (real name) played a thief in a TNG episode. Picard kicks his ass.
Russ then played a dude in a DS9 episode.

Russ finally ended up playing Tuvok (security officer) in Voyager.


Triva: Tim Russ was the #2 guy to play Geordi LaForge... LeVar Burton got the part though

Wow didn't know that. LeVar kicks so much more ass than Tuvok (though Tuvok was great at being a Vulcan, but it's unfortunate every part he plays is the same delivery)
