If they build a "Global Highway" would you attempt to drive it?

That would be awesome.

I'd like to see how they're going to tackle re-making the Alaskan land bridge though, LOL.

What an adventure!

what a terrorist haven.
What do you mean?

you will have a decent amount of ppl driving it i would assume. place explosives in specific areas of the most popular bridges, cause a biggish collapse and watch the panic. you cant monitor that whole area 24/7 take a boat up to the bridge plant bombs, use scuba gear plant bombs, run big oil tanker into bridge accidently etc. its really not going to happen,

especially in the shape our world is in now.

....

And what's preventing them from doing this now, exactly? lol

You do realize that if we don't build things because we're afraid of them blowing it up, they've won.. right?

There are places on that route where a highway cannot be built or built to last with present technology.

that wont be why it doesnt happen, we cant build it because countries would rely on U.S., England and other large wealthy countries plus who would take care of it? we cant rely on africa to support the road

Oh, it says it will be a tunnel between Siberia and Alaska.

Is it easier to build a tunnel than a bridge?

Well, that is a good point. It would obviously be up to the local governments to support the road.

I do agree it's a bit optimistic, but I don't think we should not consider it because of "terrorists".
