plus, it only ended the pacific theatre of a war.

i'm sure the germans were scared to death, how were they to know we didn't have more? any decently logical person would surrender given those circumstances........bah

u r still talking about one war. what makes u think if we nuke... say... iraq... all would be fine? how do u know that iraq is holding all it's cards in one deck? we nuke them and they nuke us back.

Actually, if the Allies had not gotten lucky and destroyed the only plutonium producing factory the germans had, Hitler would have had the bomb two years before anyone else ....
