very strong magnetic fields might be used to direct the charged particles (radiation) away from you... however, you probably still need lots of lead and concrete to protect your self from any leftover radiation and well as the heat of the blast it self...

finally, you need an energy supply (fusion) and a way to produce food and clean oxygen, as the ground above you will be unlivable for a thousand years at least.

We don't have even concentrated charged particles on demand to repulse a direct hit from a hydrogen bomb :(
