I have a lot of Jewish friends, and they say Gore. They were really out there for Lieberman, they were motivated.

I tend to agree. Florida is at heart a Conservative but Democratic state.

Just my .02, please do not flame me....

I took the red pill too. Reality is an illusion. This election proves it.;)

A re vote in Palm County only sinches it for Al Gore. That's why the Bush team will fight it with all ther power and money and influence!

Precedence in this matter is out the window. This is uncharted territory and the answer to this will be under the jurisdiction of a Florida judge.

A re-vote is never going to happen, so Bore's Beggar's will just have to whine and cry until President-Elect Bush is sworn in.

A reVote is very unlikely.

However, Russ, you speak with such certainty for someone who is guessing like the rest of us.

It will be fun - if Bush is finally president - to make fun of him (and your support) for the next four years as our economy slips (again - Voodoo Economics).)

apoppin,

Perhaps you missed the fact that the US Supreme Court stomped the idea in 1974 IN Florida.

Russ, perhaps you missed my last post where I said "a reVote is very unlikely."

EDIT: However, Bush has not declared himself the winner. Obviously there are other "issues" deciding this election.

Of course he hasn't declared. If he did, Bore's people and their media lackeys would be yelling, screaming and tossing every piece of garbage they could find.

He knows he's won, he's just too smart to give the loser even more to whine about.

Russ, you sound like you know.

You can be mistaken. We'll see.

Bush hasn't declared because he is at least smart enough to know better about doing that. He will wait until he is sure. Why can't you wait like the rest of us instead of proclaiming conjecture as fact. Heck, you could even be right (then gloat).

Some would also say that the reason why the republicans want Gore to conceed so badly is not because of the temporary "chaos" that the country is in right now because of this mess BUT because they are AFRAID that Gore really has the votes to win Florida.
