What makes doing what he says right? Is it a simple case of doing whatever yields the best result for you (i.e., going to heaven vs. going to hell)? If not (i.e., if God only says you should do something because that something is inherently right), what need is there for divine guidance? Also, how does He justify putting people through such terrible circumstances? To "test" them and see if they still choose the right? Seems like a pretty arbitrary game to play.
