Green Bean, you are talking nonsense. Iran is in no position militarily or economically to ever exert influence over the mideast aside from the limited proxy terrorist war it wages against Israel today. The Sunnis of Pakistan have nothing but disdain for Iranians and Persians, do you seriously think they'd sit back and let Iran gain a foothold into Iraq and possibly Afghanistan if the US magically left? Afghanistan is Pakistan ISI's playground, if Iran stepped out of line they'd get crushed by the beloved patriot military and the millions of armed Pashtuns. This idea of a Muslim caliphate is just a fantasy perpetuated by idealists that believe somehow Muslims would get along because they share a common religion--the stark reality of the world today proves otherwise. Fact is every country has it's own interests and no country would sit back and let another one become more influential and/or powerful in their backyard simply because they share a common religion.

Who said they will invade Iran? Talibanised Afghanistan would join as a semi autonomous state within the empire.

Pashtuns are Afghans.

& the Pakistan Military would never attack Iran. India would bitch slap them from the right.
Or maybe they'd join them (not that Pakistan would need any help kicking the sh!t out of Irans third world army)

What do you think Iran's military is made up of for Pakistan's military to kick the hell out of Iran's military?

I suggest you go read up on both military powers and what they have before you make some claims.

If by Nukes, the Pakistan in your words can beat Turkey.
They couldn't even beat Iraq, a nation half the size of them.

You need to go educate yourself before you post such things.

Iran was surprised attacked by a million man army who was 1) always being re-supplied and 2) funded by billions of dollars by the Arabs 3) Arab fighters went to Iraq to fight the Persians, not just Iraqis.

Also Iran's military was 100% U.S made weapons. 50% of their army equipment was destroyed in the revolution and the other portion of that was used to fight against Iran (MEK).

Iran was unable to get resupplied and had to use what they had. They managed to push the Iraqis back who used chemical weapons on the marching Persians.

Iran was out-gunned in every instance but managed to hold off the Arabs.

Comparing Iran's military today to what it was during the Iraq War shows a complete lack of what it is you are typing.

This thread is pretty funny, I like how you get so worked up in defense of Iran. Seriously, Pakistan would have no need to ever wage war against Iran simply because Israel would do the job themselves--hell they're chomping at the bit to wipe the floor with Iran right now.

On the contrary. Pakistan would defend any attack by Isreal on any muslim country. Maybe you should read up on the mecca pact.

The world is not even sure if they have WMD weapons; be it chemical bological or nuclear. How can you be so sure of its conventional army being weak? Besdies, a chemical attack would be catasrophic for most armies of the world.

Iran had to send in human waves. What other choice did they have? They had no weapons. Persians would rather die than to be occupied and murdered by Arabs.

I disagree. Iran was ruled by the Abbasid and Fatemid Caliphate during the European Middle Ages. Race is NO barrier for religion.
