If the Republicans aren't racist...

Then why is the "Great Replacement" theory so important to them? If Republicans don't even care about race, as many so often claim, then why does the possibility that the race of the majority of Americans might be different in the future freak them out so much? If they're not racists, then why do they assume that non-white Americans will vote Democratic and not Republican? And why do they assume that to the extent that they have created and wildly spread a conspiracy theory that this is the "Democrat agenda" to seize power?
Considering that "Great Replacement" is just a PC way of saying "white genocide," I see all of these questions as legitimate.

BTW, Tucker is at again, and loyal "Democrats are the real racists!" Republicans are eating it right up, as usual.

They will point the finger at any outside group which threatens the in-group's power; it can be race, sexuality, religion, it doesn't matter. If America were hypothetically all non-Hispanic Caucasian but it so happened that atheists were an increasing voting demographic that voted against the GOP agenda, they'd start a culture war on non-religious folk. Race just happens to be the easiest choice to rile up the base because someone's skin color is an immediately obvious way to impose their self-righteous indignation onto others they deem lesser than themselves.

Yes, like the Republican's decades-long agenda to re-criminalize homosexuality using the "argument" that LGBTQ oppress them, and have an "agenda" to force their way of life on them, simply by LGBTQ existing and choosing to live their lives as they see fit.
At their core, Republicans are all about abusing the force of govt to oppress others using false arguments that they need to do so in order to "defend" themselves.

Water can be pretty dry when its in the solid state.

I guess it makes sense though. I believe SOME republicans might not be racist, even if their party as a whole tends to lean that way.

Wait, how can one be oppressed when the oppressed is the one oppressing others?

For sure not all Republicans are racist. In fact, I am certain that most are not. But their leaders and their most vocal members are, and subsequently so are their policies.

Many republicans have a circular victimhood line of thought they are stuck in which basically boils down to: Do unto others before they might ever do unto you and it's their fault for making you do it in the first place because they merely exist.

I think we might need the "Put Trumpanzees in a Zoo" act.

Until someone over the age of 18 can demonstrate human cognitive ability and empathy.. of which the Trumpanzees are devoid of.. they belong in a zoo under the careful care of experts who rehabilitate them so someday they may be reintroduced to society.

Sadly they might be happy in the zoo since they'll have their perfect "white ethnic" state in there.

Republican leaders tolerate and welcome racist behavior and acts. And so goes the party

Yes, as far as I can tell the republicans who are not racist are highly aware of the fact that they need the racists to win elections. They would rather win with the racists than lose without them.

Carlson is trying to dog whistle white nationalist beliefs by repackaging them as being about "voting." Anyone recall the data I posted in the insurrectionist thread about the geographic origin of those participating in the capitol riots?

A hugely disproportionate number came from counties with declining white populations, and increasing populations of non-whites. This was clearly a motivating factor in the riot. As it was in those who voted for Trump in both 2016 and 2020.

Carlson's viewers know exactly what and who he is talking about.

Well if Tucker Carlson isn't a white nationalist he sure has hoodwinked the professional white nationalists into thinking he is:

Funny how that works.

Yeah, just like when they were all thrilled over the non-racist Donald Trump.

Those poor non-racist republicans, always being mistaken for racists by the nation's biggest and most overt racists. What are they to do?
