If the Illuminati offered you the chance to join them, would you do so?

Okay, the Illuminati are fictional. But if they really exist and you get offered a chance to join them for an annual income of a million dollars, would you do so?

The scenario assumes that you become a traitor to your nation once you have joined them!

EDIT: You also get a shot at ruling the world with a secret hand!

Okay, you get a lot of power too.

Traitor means you work primarily for the Illuminati. In case of a conflict of interest between your nation and the goals of the society, you will have to work against your own nation.

When you're Illuminati you don't need a nation. You own private islands.

Sure, I wouldnt be betraying anyone because that would insinuate that the illuminati didnt create the nation in the first place if it turned out to be real. I would just be reinforcing the system that created the greatest country in the world, sounds good to me!

Considering how much the establishment is screwing my nation right now, the only way to betray it would be to start fixing things!

Can you imagine the panic in the streets if the government suddenly started to function in a sane and efficient manner? Cats and dogs, living together... mass hysteria!

Exactly why I asked to define "traitor".

No, and what does the armed forces have to do with anything? If you were to tip off anybody it would be a civilian body like the FBI or the DOJ or DHS (not the CIA because they are run by shadowy extragovernmental organizations).

That wouldn't do any good. The Illuminati would have agents in all those organizations to stop stuff like that from getting out.

Betray the core ideas and possibilities of my nation, or betray the current trends and leanings of my nation?

BIG DIFFERENCE.

In the end I do what I do because I think it's right or the best proximity to right. Nothing else has any relevance in anything I do.
