does it mean that the gpu is o/ced too much or memory?

its weird, I had no problems at all with other games before, but with borderlands its freezing after maybe an hour of play.

temperature is reaching 70c @ max but using accelero to keep it cool.

did update the driver as well.

any ideas? normally I would get artifacts in games if I o/c too much before.

Try to run the system stock? See if the freezing stops. Then just start OCing and see which part causes the issue. Then you will know.

There's no way to tell otherwise, really. Temps look fine. No idea which card you have though, it doesn't say anywhere. However, I don't think there are cards that would crap out at 70C, no matter the brand.

I think it's your gpu core, or PSU. Try this (takes 5 mins): start at stock speeds, then

steadily OC gpu core independently until freeze, see what happens...

Next,

steadily OC gpu mem independently until freeze, see what happens.

Yes you can get black screens and freezes without artifacts...

I would load defaults (CPU and GPU) and play that game again. If you have no issues anymore it's safe to assume it was a dodgy overclock.
