Ok, so pretty much retailers are not selling the 7900GT N560 at all (or maybe a few are)... But the thing is, Newegg/Chiefvalue has the N563 CO version for $299. Monarchcomputer has it for $310. MSRP price of the N560 is $299. No price has been stated for the CO version yet. So the question remains... What are your guesses on the MSRP price of the eVGA N563 7900GT CO (500/1500)? I might have to change my stepup order...

So... is it worth paying $15 or $35 (including the $10.95 shipping back) for a 7900GT?

I paid $299 for my 7800gt.

7900GT = 450/1320 $300
7900GT CO = 500/1500... ~$320

The CO at newegg still says $299 at newegg. It is out of stock now though.

the 7900GT looks to be much better than the 7800GT (from what I've seen) and easily tears apart a X1800XL (but the 7800GT did that too)....as for the 7900GTX, the tests I saw (linked from the nV website) showed is pulling a decent lead on the X1900XTX...but I was expecting that, since the 7800 GTX 512mb wasn't behind it by too much (FPS wise, image quality from everything I've seen, ATI was king in that linup....haven't heard much about the 7900's image quality.)

It depends which 7800gt you have. Or I guess, if you overclock. I have the evga 7800gt CO se which is 470mhz. Thats pretty much GTX speeds. And the GTX is almost identical speed to the 7900 so... I definitely wouldnt say a 7900 "is much better". I probably wont be upgrading anytime soon unless the 7900 drops to $250 or so, because I paid $240AR for my 7800gt CO SE card. :p
