You are thinking like someone willing to kill for his cause, but that is not what the 9/11 terrorists were. They were people willing to die for their cause. To them winning is not important, only causing others to suffer, spreading fear was their goal. The Terrorists that attacked on 9/11 knew that their attack had literally no hope of defeating America, they were becoming martyrs. In their minds an oversized response, like nuking a foreign nation, would be perfect. It would result in more suffering, more fear, and more people hating America. That was their goal.
Yes, what you said here is absolutely correct for the the terrorists who actually did it. But I am not talking about them, I am talking about their sponsors, people who incepted the attack, its not just those 6 or 7 individuals, not just KSM, not even Osama, I am talking about their masters, who made all of this possible, they are afraid, today they know that they cannot afford to piss USA off. Actually they are not even in power anymore, they have been overthrown, who knows, maybe USA had a hand in that too, and all this happened during Trump's administration. They have been contained, Iran has been contained, all major states how could sponsor such attack and on the defensive.

lol wut!

Your previous post read like parody by and large, I wasn't sure whether it was genuinely meant or not. This one swept away all ambiguity however, and the verdict is clear: you are obviously off your rockers.

Who carried out 7-11? Saudi Arabia. You think the Sauds who bankrolled Osama were scared of the U.S. then? Nope, obviously not!! Why on earth would they be scared now when the U.S, including its military is weaker, internally divided and wracked by covid, and the country is run by a leader who is not only even stupider and more demented than George "Cokehead" Dubya, but also considers the Sauds his best buddies?!

The Saudi regime is still there, as far as I am aware. Has something dramatic happened in the last half-hour that I am unaware of?

Now that was funny and a very Republican like comment!!
Yes, definitely a Republican, I don't hide it, I believe people in United States even today have the right to choose their own side without the fear of retaliation. More of a right leaning centerist, there are things I don't see eye to eye with the Republicans, but there is nothing I can agree with with today's Democrats, Cal prop 16 kinda seals the deal for me. My top issue for more than 15 years has been China, how they have been exploiting us and how for the last 5 or so years they went on the offensive to destroy us. Trump was the only pseron to call them out and start retaliating.

Below are couple of links, not major change, but their attitude towards America has definitely changed since 2017, including, however symbolic, the 'Dicplomatic Agreement' that was signed earlier this week.

I am a Republican, and definitely a Trump supporter, before him, I was just helplessly watching Russia taking over our energy sector and China attacking us on all fronts by hacking and spying on our universities and private research sector and forcing tech giants to give up their intellectual property. Not to mention our government making it more and more difficult to manufacture in US by strengthening the labor and environmental regulations, all the while getting everything manufacturing in China where labor laws were almost non existent and damage to the global climate was 10 fold considering how they produced energy and who the freight ships were burning sludge polluting the oceans. Since Trump tool office, a lot of progress has been made overall.
I know this is a one sided, extreme left wing forum, probably infiltrated by 50 cent army, but since I am a long time member, I felt obligated to put forth my point of view, my thoughts, you are welcome to bring forth your counter points and personal attacks. I know I am not going to change anyone's point of view here, therefore I am looking at getting into any lengthy back-and-forth. Enjoy Prop 16!

You are a good representation of the current Republican Party. Extremely ignorant on the issues. Everything you just talked about with regards to China is complete and utter bull shit. Under Obama the TPP, which every republican and some democrats rejected had the same type of labor and environmental regulations we have for other countries. Signing it would have added much needed pressure on China to adopt such measures as well. Instead what have we got under trump? Nothing except higher prices for consumers and nothing rude has changed including the trading deficit.

Our energy policy under Obama (and bush jr) lead to our energy independence (which put more pressure on Russia) and started us on a course to compete with China for alternative energy sources. All of that was scrapped by the party and president you support.

If you were really concerned about those things you wouldn’t be voting for republicans. But we get it, you’ve been brainwashed and there ain’t no one going to convince you of anything that contradicts your feels.

lol Retaliation? Like, say, shooting tear gas canisters and rubber bullets at peaceful protestors and beating them with batons? lol

You have no retaliation to fear from bleeding heart libbruls (kind of goes without saying mate), except them telling you what a damned clueless fool you are for supporting a party and a Prez which is actively and deliberately working to make you poorer and sicker, and your life harder, worse, less educated, more dangerous, more polluted and more hopeless to live.

That you can't even tell that Dumpy HAS no china policy (or any other policy for that matter) just seals the deal when it comes to you being a clueless, dangerously easily duped fool. Dumpy's attention span stretches no further than the last time you complimented him and told him what a fantastic leader and person he is. His only motive for doing ANYTHING is how much adulation he thinks it will bring him personally.

That you can't see that means you're lost as a human being. You're cheering on a party of con men who are busily conning you and you're proud of that. They wave distractions in front of your eyes like walls to keep the brown people out, and behind your back they work to rob you blind while handing trillions of dollars in tax breaks and subsidies to the rich and to corporations, poison your food, air and water, make your car thirstier and more expensive to run, dismantle your social safety net, hand public lands to corporations to be exploited and ruined for private profits and many other things.

Their latest schtik is denying reality so that a dangerous virus can injure or kill you, and conspire to remove your right to choose your own leaders and future.

There's no word in any language to describe how dumb this is. But you still do it.

Ah! TPP, you think signing an agreement with CCP would make them follow it? A party that has been sponsoring all types of attack on US for years, builds concentration camps for Uyghurs and put a bunch of countries in dept traps, would just follow an agreement? What will we do if they don't comply? Draw red line for them as well? You have to retaliate, its a war a war that we did not start and war in ugly, yes we have to pay a little bit higher price for commodities, so what?
On the energy front, yes we did make progress in fracking but offshre drilling was still largely lagging, and then there's methane limits, powerplant rules, pipelines, etc. We cannot have all these rules in our country and they manufacture everything we consume at a location where non of these rules apply. And then there was Uranium One.

Do you think China feels more pressure from one country or almost all its major trading partners and neighbors working together?

The only pressure China has felt are factories being outsourced to even cheaper labour markets. Right, if Trumpity Dumpity pushed for this, then we could say his policies are making an impact. Nope cut environmental policies and “national security” tariffs is his playbook.

CANZUK needs to form and knock the US as the dominant economic world power.

Since your point is you proudly endorsing taking it up the shitter from the 0.01%, Big Business, Big Pharma, Wall Street, banksters, the military-industrial complex and Faux News, all I can say is, that's the dumbest point I ever heard. Well, not quite, but it's terrible all the same.

Try and explain in words an apparently infantile socialist can understand why it's in your opinion better to double down on polluting, environment-destroying and human-killing fossile fuels instead of a liberal Green New Deal for example. Because I can't fucking understand it. It's completely irrational.

China was not being pressured or could not be pressured by any traditional government as they have corrupt politicians from every major country in their pockets, major European countries and Australia Japan could never put any pressure on China in any meaning way by signing any bill or agreement. The only way to do it was put tangiable pressure like tarrifs, ban and pull out, which no country would have done at the required scale if Trump wouldn't have started.

Ahh yes, tarrifs, the wonderful trade practice that is more akin to shooting yourself in the foot. After all, they don't punish the exporter, they punish the consumer. So any tariff is ultimately paid by us.

China bought lots of US soybeans. You know what happened when Trump started the trade war?
China bought soybeans from somewhere else and the federal government had to provide tens of billions in aid to soybean farmers.

How about steel? Tariffs on Chinese steel raised prices for construction, which ultimately reduced the number of construction jobs.

In fact, the entire trade war cost the US roughly 1.7T in capital gains and we lost about 300B in trade, on top of all the jobs lost.

Trump's policies have been massive failures across the board.

Ahahhahaha

Whole point of TPP was to exclude China.
Uranium One? Do you even google.
