I’m very disappointed in Moore for this. The figures they are using for the life cycle costs of renewable energy are ludicrously wrong.

I don't like him. He warned me about Clinton and I didn't listen. We got Trump. What a nightmare. I'm not going to listen to this climate thingi either because I'm really going to hate the rat bastard if he's right twice. Don't tell me if he is. I want it to be a 'short lived' surprise.

Conservatives still read their kids the Three Little Pigs even though they know there's social security, the bastards, putting such scary thoughts in their children's minds. And bricks just don't make any sense in giggly California.

Thanks. I waded through about a third of the diatribe. Seems he's outright given up the idea that there could be a smart electric grid with battery storage technology far cheaper and maintainable https://www.betterworldsolutions.eu/smart-grid-battery-molten-salt-battery/.
I guess if your goal is to say green energy is bad, you can put all kinds of disjointed facts together. Very disappointing Mr. Moore.

...give Michael Moore's Planet of the Humans a try.

I have that bookmarked already, but just can't muster the energy to watch it.

He might have some valid points - there's a lot of cynical corporate crap pushed in the name of green-washing, and a lot of suspiciously pain-free purported techno-fixes to climate-change. I'm not that excited by electric cars or micro-solar/wind for example. And Carbon-offsetting appears to be mostly a con.

On the other hand he might be going too far the other way with some workerist leftist dismissal of all environmentalism. Can't tell, till I watch it, which I can't find the energy to do.

Plus, also, to be honest, Michael Moore does tend to use cheap tricks in his movies. As always, the written word is more trustworthy than moving images. People who work in that medium are always propagandists, really.
