If Star Wars made a 3rd Trilogy ..........

If someone made a 3rd Trilogy of Star Wars movies, would you go see them?

And should they be made from a Star Wars book? theres been some great books printed out there after eps 4,5,and 6.

my vote would be Dark Empire or/and the Thrawn Trilogy.

what do you guys think?

or are a lot of you Star Wars fans not into the books that have been printed out?
Timothy Zahn is probably one of there best authers IMHO

I loved the Thrawn Trillogy (all 5 books! )

I don't think Lucas will make them into movies though.

Was that the Thrawn series? If so, agreed (although I read them some...8 years ago.

not based around the Thrawn books, just because I wouldn't want another series of movies dealing with all the same characters that were featured in Ep. 4-6.

actually, they were paper backs. i guess they made them into other formats like the audio books as well.
and givin my lack of time to do any real reading lately with my 8 month old daughter, i might have to resort to that myself

Thrawn trilogy totally rocked! Thrawn was the most interesting in all the star wars literature. He did not have any 'Jedi' powers, no unfair advantages, yet proved more brilliant than any sith lord. And his motives were conquest and establishing order, not subjugation and destruction. Timothy Zahn's plot and characters were awesome

hey i didnt know there was a book 6 to that series.
I've read about 20 or more Star Wars books, and I know im barely half way throgh( theres a lot ofbooks out there)

its funny you posted that list cause I just started "Vision of the Future"
, but as i posted early( i think in this thread) It seems i never have time to read anymore.
