'kinda both'

sounds like a woman's interpretation of 'he asked my opinion because he's getting a car for himself...but i can probably convince him to get one for me, as well...i mean, he's so rich.'.

He straight out asked me what I wanted

I already have a pretty nice car....but he wants to get me something nicer I guess.

You on the big island? I just got back. Man, roads are absolutely horrible there, worse than LA. Truck is a great idea.

How about a VW Touareg V10 TDI?

Was just over there for a wedding, just a few days.

I was amazed at how many modified cars there were over there. Guess it's that Japanese population.

Seriously, look into the Touareg V10 TDI. Very flexible, on road and off. Loads of power, a great interior, and you may get a good chance to get to know your VW service department very very well. 😉
