If someone threw you a VIA board and a skateboard, which one would you catch?

That would depend on the kind of skateboard ;)

Edit: I think i'd only catch the skateboard if it was a Nash or Variflex. Those are the only companies keepin' it real. :Q

and if someones lobbing skateboards at me we're gonna have a problem. ;)

VIA- I've not had any issues with their chipsets that I haven't been able to workout merely by selecting my other components with care, and following the proper order of installation for the 4n1's and other drivers.

Depends on the mobo and depends on the skateboard.

I'd take an Asus board based on KT266A board over a piece of junk skateboard some kid managed to buy at $5 from garage sale with his spending money.

If it was ECS K7S5A, I'd take any skateboard over it.

I don't use a skateboard.
Basketballs aren't worth $50.
I don't think hockey sticks are either.

Hey, bonjour there, Jean-whatever.

Its only a hypothetical situation, 'cause most people will just put garbage in the trash, but I guess a 686B southbridge is good enough for crunchin WU's:)

I would catch the motherboard and then ride off on the skateboard since they can take a hit and still work.

Probably the VIA board, as the skateboard is more likely to survive the fall

Just thinking eBay sense :)

The motherboard. Adding patches and tweaking isn't a problem for those who know how. I've yet to be unable to get a system up and running stable based on a chipset problem. The problems some have had with the K7S5A wasn't the chipset problem, it was due to cheap components ECS used.

skateboard since I probably would probably not need to deal with weekly 4-in-1 "drivers" with it
