It depends. If they said they hated me just randomly, i'd be like meh. But if I screwed up their whole life on the internet, and they said they hated me, then i'd be like, OMG WTF did I do?!?!

Unless you know them personally and it's not just an internet aquaintance, I don't think it'd bother me much. Then again I don't make life long, lets hang out online on Anandtech, friends through the internet. I'm more of a face to face guy, but that's just me.
