If someone suicidal was blocking traffic, would you tell them to jump?

I guess some people would.

<< Some frustrated drivers--stuck in traffic in the southbound lanes of I-95 as Dunham negotiated with Myers--yelled as they passed over the bridge. Dunham told other police officers that he was sickened to hear at least a dozen people shout for her to jump as they passed over the bridge. >>

People have been yelling "JUMP" at suicidal people ever since they started jumping off high places.

Everyone dies anyway. It would be a win-win situation. They want to die; I want to get past. Is that so wrong?

If I knew the person, no. If I didn't, yes.

Isn't it grand to have situational morals? :D

i don't think one of the reasons for suicide is stupidity. i know a lot of very intelligent people that killed themselves.

It's sad that most of you feel they should just die. Perhaps it's someone who's just emotionally unstable because of a recent and very traumatic experience.. and it just pushed them a bit over the edge. You're saying simply because it may inconveinence you, that they should die? Sick..

No, but after the person gets help they should be forced to do a couple of hundred hours of community service to make up for the harm they did.

I'd be really really pissed and think that they should just jump already, but I wouldn't yell it out. I agree with the if you're gonna kill yourself, don't inconvenience other people.

the same thing happened here on I-5 a while back.

i personally would not tell her to jump, but these people are really retarded, and probably deserved such treatment. they're just looking for attention, and decided to get it in some dramatic fashion by making sure just about everybody knows about them. if they just wanted to commit suicide they could have found a less public way of doing it. retards.

That is so funny. I totally would. I'd even push them off.
