Occasionally i'll walk into a public restroom to do my business and let out a loud fart.

is that rude or unusual?

i've never even looked around to see if anyone else is staring or cares.

but lately i've started thinking, do other people really care that you farted in a public restroom?

That's what bathrooms are for, I would rather fart in the restroom than out in public.

at all.


minimal conversation is possible while waiting, but is to be avoided.

a loud one huh? that's special.

I don't make eye contact, but I usually shake my head if the perpetrator is in the main foyer of the mens room.

Have you ever noticed when you fart in a bathroom it's amplified? It's like your fart molecules mix with the other fart molecules in the air and combine to create a fart chain reaction which smells much worse than if you had farted in your office. It?s like a fart atomic bomb.

OH MY GOD. That is seriously true. I walk into the bathroom, and this guy who was already pissing in the very next urinal stares at me while I was about to do my thing. It wasn't just a casual "who just walked in?" glance, he was STARING at me. Then I just left. You just do that sort of thing in the men's bathroom.
