If someone doesnt email you back, how long do you wait before you send the same email?

I have been emailing some prof's at a couple different universities, but none of them have gotten back, some were friday, others were yesterday...

I usually wait at least 5 days or a weekend...

Depends on how important it is. 1 day if important, a few days if not.

Don't forget, this is prime vacation time, especially for profs who don't have class in summer.
