If Ron Paul gets the GOP nomination, do you think neocons will run a 3rd party?

Seeing how weak the rest of the Republican field is, I wouldn't be so confident in that thought.

LOL new right hates him. Look how they cried when Clinton slightly dismantled the welfare/defense/security state they like to use to escape poverty. Paul would make Clinton look like Reagan. He's also pro illegals. Never understood rights hate for illegals as it's cheap labor but it's there.

It has more to do with them being lawbreakers than anything else.

Laws are important, they are required for any society to properly function. When you have a segment of society that purposefully breaks laws every day...well, you have a segment that is harmful to society.

Certainly you had to cringe inside when you typed that sentence...wondering why people do not like criminals...

Paul is not against legal immigration and in fact he would love nothing more then to stream line the process to allow more people to immigrate into the US providing they are boon and or at very least not a huge burden on the US tax payer.

Furthermore Ron Paul has come out in support of controlling our borders so that we know who exactly is coming in and out. He also is completely in support of preventing the abuse of our social services by illegals and the abuse of the 14th amendment which he views as being directly tied to the strain put on our social services programs by illegals and their anchor babies. So no you are wrong in your statement that Paul "supports illegals" this is just something you pulled out of your ass.

Yeah, as much of a loon as I think Paul is, there is no way he is in support of anyone breaking US laws. He is a strict law follower...and if he thinks there is a bad law, he will follow it until he can get it removed.

I do like that about him. I just wish he would actually show us HOW he is going to do all the radical things he wants to do. If he enacted all his plans, he would destroy the US economy while throwing the entire world into chaos and war (wars in which we would have to get involved due to treaties).

To beat Mr Obama, I can see the GOP circling the wagons around almost anyone including Mr Paul and Mr Romney.

You might as well start a thread about what would happen if the GOP nominates OJ Simpson - he and Paul have a mathematically identical likelihood of being nominated.

A more interesting question is whether the Tea Party dopes would run a third-party candidate like Bachmann or Palin if Romney wins the GOP nomination (as seems highly likely).

This.
