This is why I respect you hanging around here.
While I don’t know much about them and Crenshaw seems to fall into the liberal tears loving crowd they seem to be responsible choices.
You know fuck all about them obviously. Learn a bit and I doubt you will be so sure they are responsible choices.

That including the Rove v Wade?

Meta: I assume that you recognize the snipe from taj here…you about the only sane Trump supporter I know of and thats why I like to pick your brain.

Row v Wade was a bad precedent from the start. Read what RBG said about it. This should have never been decided by the SCOTUS to begin with.

All this did was place the choice back to the voters and the representatives in each state to decide what the laws in their state will be. Which is by the law as abortion isn't covered by federal law and it falls back on the states to decide.

OR

Congress could get their collective heads out of their asses and pass a law that would cover the issue and be acceptable to all concerned within reasonable guidlines. Such as elective abortions allowed up to 15 weeks, allowed for rape, incest or medical reasons after 15 weeks.

We also need to understand that some compromises need to happen on both sides of this issue as it is impossible to please everyone.

A few weeks back the House could have easily passed a Bill that made abortions legal. Instead they included the kitchen sink and it failed in the Senate. A Bill will easily pass if it contains a few restrictions that the majority of U.S. citizens support i.e. late term abortion safeguards.

What makes you think the Senate would pass it anymore than any other house bill? It's 48 Dems with 2 quantum senators whose odds of voting against are better than 50/50

This of course ignores the 50 republicans who will simply vote against to own the libs.

Because a good number of Republicans aren't hard core pro-life. A 16 week (3rd +trimester) and safeguards against late term abortions and no Federal funding of abortion would easily pass the Senate.

Wouldn't hurt my feeling a bit if Trump didn't endorse McCarty for Speaker. There are many others that would be better IMO and none of them are Gatez, Greene, or Bobert.

Stefanic, Scalise, Jordan, Crenshaw,

Gym Jordan, the pedo rapist?

that makes sense, I guess.

If people commit crimes they should go to prison.

Anyone walking the streets today is not a criminal.

Someone give me my Modern US Conservative Trophy, I fucking nailed it.

Yeah, You nailed it alright...

He didn't rape the kids himself but evidence strongly suggests he knew this abuse was happening and did nothing. To me that indicates someone with no moral core and astoundingly poor judgment. Who would want someone like that as speaker?

And that's not even getting into his role in the insurrection. Jim Jordan is an exceptionally poor public servant - the less power he has the better for all of us.

That is correct - I'm not aware of any evidence that says he participated in any of the sex crimes that took place there.

Again though, there is quite a bit of evidence that he was aware of them and did nothing. I would hope you would consider someone of such poor moral fiber to be a bad choice for speaker.

OK his moral fiber is up for debate. I agree that is a possibility.

Well, there is obviously an artistic inflation for the dramatic when debating this stuff, if we’re to remove the irony sarcasm and morbidity from the message we’ll get to the subtext of the matter… and im quite sure zin knows he is not a pedo rapist, at least not “on trial” for that.
