I don't think the electoral college has met yet so if there was a connection they could not vote Obama into office.

Of course it would create one hell of a mess. And many states have laws that require them to vote for their pledged candidate, but I am sure they could get around those laws.

BTW I doubt this will happen. Just say what COULD happen if Obama was involved. Besides, President Biden is a scary thought.

That said the only reason imo that this Birth Cert issue has\had any traction at all was because it came up for review by the Supreme Court. If it was tossed out like the others the story would have died months ago.

The President can't stay past Jan 20 @ noon (same for the current Veep), and without a valid candidate/Pres-elect, I'm pretty sure it would fall to the Speaker.
