In fact, it seems pretty clear that the law of common sense suggests Obama wasn't involved. He's President now, why would he be involved in crocked dealings with his old Senate seat? Why would he bribe the Governor to do ANYTHING with it? I'm sure there is some scenario where that could happen, but it doesn't seem like the most likely one...

So unless your partisan brain is so distorted with man-love for Obama, a reasonable person can assume that Blago asked the Obama camp for something in exchange for the senate appointment, and was rebuffed.

Notice all along I've said "the obama camp", since I'm following Blago's words of "they", not "he".

The buzz in the Chicago papers is that Blagojovich approached Rahm Emanuel (Obama's Chief of Staff)and shortly thereafter Emanuel was acting to get the federal prosecutor to finally move in and make the arrest since they apparently already have a LOT of info on him.

If that is the truth then one would think it would absolve the Obama camp of any hint of wrongdoing.
