Seems alot of people are having problems with memory performance problems. Supposedly WPCREDIT fixes it or something. I really don't want to rely on a little program to fix memory issues created by hardware. So, should I get the BXMaster or BE6-II? I was hoping to overclock a P3 700E (slot 1) to the magical 933 mark.
Anyhelp would be appreciated, thanks.

Everyone is using WPCREDIT to get a little more of a boost from their memory with the VIA chipset on the P3V4X.
I'm not using WPCREDIT and after pluggin in 256mb of PC133 Cas 2 Crucial RAM my SisSandra scores for memory are good enough where I won't bother with WPCREDIT. CPU=368 FPU=446

The memory performance problems with the via chipsets are actually bios software problems. Some manufacturers have improved bios software, others lag behind. WpCREDIT doesn't do anything that the most advanced bios won't do. I am not sure which boards/bios support the most recent improvements.(soyo7vca?) Intel outdid themselves with the bx chipset (witness their recent efforts),tweaked it for two years, and we all got spoiled. The via chipset&bios are in their infancy, and are really pretty good, all things considered. That said, both boards you mention are highly regarded, particularly the BXmaster.
