Didn't see the episode, but I got it.

For the historically uninformed, Some time back in the day, Europeans gave Native Americans blankets covered in small pox. They did other mean things to Native Americans as well, tricking indian chiefs into a dinner/feast, then holding them hostage for gold, then slaying the chief anyway. Unforunately the Americans wern't much better either, what a bunch of nice guys.
