If it's too good to be true, it probably isn't

Ehh, people on hardforum got away with 2GB Mushkin PC3200 for $125... Lucky..

Spacecentersystems had everything for $5, then canceled everybody's orders. So they then called people telling about the price mistake...

and I got there before the disclaimer was posted 🙁.

I did actually find something that was too good to be true on Hot Deals, a CPU/Mobo combo back in 2000, was so amazing I figured it had to be fake, but nope, got the most amazing setup for a third of what it was retailing for. I was stoked, built a dream machine of a PC on it..... Then my apt was broken into and I never saw that PC again.... so ya, it was too good to be true, in a way, lol
