Dont ask why I am just now finding this out at past midnite, but my fnckin gas was shut off today!!! I have never gotten a bill for it and it was on when I moved in here. The landlady never told me I had to call the gas co [who the heck is that?] and get it in my name. It has been over a year and a half since I moved in and they are just NOW shutting it off???? WTF So now I can't cook anything and if we lose power because of the storm [we do all the time, old wiring] I can't eat. Who do I call? Do I have to pay for all the gas I used when I wasn't paying for it? It was NEVER put into my name, I have never gotten a bill. Now I have another bill, as small as it is I am on a kinda small budget w/my girl in school makin jack for money, and I don't want to! *rant* *rave* *whine* *drink some more* Any idea on if I will have to pay them back or not? Who do I call? *drink some more* Good thing I don't use gas for the heat is all I can say.

Unless the Gas Co. is open on Saturdays, you're screwed till Tuesday:(

I'd tell them you want to get the gas put in your name effective (today), if they don't say anything about past usage, don't you either.....;)

If it somehow comes out though, you'll need to make some kind of payment arrangements with them:(

Sorry.......-kd5-

Call the gas company and tell them you just moved in and have no idea who lived there before you. The might come out right away and turn the gas back on because of the cold weather but they might require a deposit. Just call them and see what they can do.

Stupid gas co, they don't open till 8a in the morn. So what do I do if I'm hungry? Maybe I can find a couple of rocks and start a fire in my plastic trash can. If it gets out of hand, I can break my 38gal fish tank and let that water put the fire out. I'm sure my fish wont like that but my little girls (cats of course) would just love a special treat! Actually, I have one fish that would be more than a meal for them both. 17" Porthole Knife! Whoops, now I'm rambling. Oh well, no gas fun for me tonight!
