If I'm not overclocking...

...can I stick with the retail Intel HSF? I know this may sound like and obvious question, but the Asus PC Probe is report a CPU temp of 45 degrees Celsius.

I don't see any problems with that temperature especially since you are not overclocking. If you like to see temps in the 30 range then get an Alpha or GlobalWin.

stick with the intel stock. if u remove it i believe it voides your warrantee. this way if you crash and burn(literally, hehe) u can get them to replace it

i'd grab a gorb or globalwin just to be safe, the stock isn't too great. although if you're not OC'ing then it should be fine, unless you have really crappy ventilation in your case or something else. but why not pop for a gorb and be safe, i'd feel a lot more comfortable having something that said ThermalTake on it then an intel logo
