If I were to leave ship and catch a train...

lol! I prefer my asps, but have to make sure pythons don't enter the mix. Perhaps I need a cup of Java.

You’ve painted up your lips an rolled and curled your tinted hair.
Ruby are you contemplating going out somewhere?
The shadow on the wall tells me the sun is going down -
Oh Ruby
Don’t take your love to town

Its hard to love a man whose legs are bent and paralysed
And the wants and the needs of a woman your age, Ruby I realize,
But it won’t be long I’ve heard them say until I not around
Oh Ruby
Don’t take your love to town

It wasn’t me that started that old crazy asian war
But I was proud to go and do my patriotic chore
And yes, it’s true that I’m not the man I used to be...
Oh Ruby
I still need some company.

Oh my...

I was waiting to see "...And along came Jones!"

(of course I was never tied to the train tracks!)

It's interesting concept but I think I will pass. 😉

Honestly I had no idea what it was. Just got tired of getting matches while searching for "ruby" on the forums. 😛

I would have thought this was more your style. 🙂

There are only two people on this forum likely to have heard that song and we've both posted now.

Tall thin Jones
Slow walkin' Jones
Slow talkin' Jones

Now that is one beautiful boat (is it technically a ship at that point? :hmm🙂

Trawler yacht specifically. Some would say ship or boat too. Once a vessel carries a tender (boat) of her own and has a professional crew - she is a ship proper.
