I think that apple sells a DVI to ADC (apple/mac standard connection) I am pretty sure i saw one in a case at compusa (with teh i-pod toys, go figure). Isn't the ADC pretty much a DVI port but with the power on the same plug as the video feed? I think i read that somewhere a while ago, can't ermember where

The new Aluminium cased LCDs use DVI and should work with a PC out of the box. The older LCDs require an ADC-->DVI adapter to work with a PC.

if you buy the NEW lcd you dont need an adapter, its DVI. it you get an OLD lcd monitor(which you shouldnt) you would need a DVI-ADC adapter. try searching the apple website

As Yomicron, Wahsapa, and nickmarine have stated, the new Apple LCDs are only DVI. So if your graphics card has a DVI connector, you'll be okay. Otherwise, you'll need a VGA to DVI adapter. And out of the box, they work with both Macs and PCs. Trust me, if there's one thing I know, it's Macs.

I find that some cheap PC DVI cards have crappy DVI signals. They don't work consistently with all displays. Just make sure you have a good quality DVI card and you should be fine. However, you'll need to set a custom resolution of 1920x1200 (for the 23"), if your card's drivers don't already have that built in.
