I would prefer it to all be in wall... Do they make ethernet jacks where you can simply plug in from the back as well? (as opposed to splicing in)

I would prefer if i could just run a cable inside the wall and hook it up quickly from the backside.

Yeah it is called Inline Coupler Keystone, http://www.monoprice.com/produ...id=1073&seq=1&format=2

However the addtional plugin is not in favor by pros coz it might attenuate the signal and add source for trouble. YMMV

They eliminate the need to punch down the cable with a punch-down tool.
