If i wanted to get my fingernail checked out, what kind of doctor would I see?

basically, to make a long story short, i was playing basketball, the ball hit my thumbnail straight on, and abou thalf of it bent straight up, hurts like a b*tch but i'd liek to get it check odut today - anyone with an idea of what type of doctor i should see?

No need to see a doctor. It's probably going to fall out, your finger will look funny for a while, and then you'll grow another one.

In the time being, have fun being that guy with the f*cked up fingers like the butler in Scary Movie. :laugh:

ha ha ha....very funny

I was hammering in a tent stake with a hachet/hammer combo when the head came off and split my thumbnail in half. Took about 6 months to fully regrow. Not much a doctor can do besides give you pain meds or chop off your finger 😉
 
A proctologist, so he can remove your head from your a$$...
gawd...ANY MD would be fine...go see your regular doctor, go to one of the "urgent care" clinics, etc...it's not like this is something that requires any specialist for...
