Dood...get rid of none. Be yourself. The world respects someone who is an individual, not a clone.

(su-uure they do.)
If you want to better yourself...get rid of ALL on your list., however, they are just part of a costume...what do you need to do to improve you?

i tried being myself but i found it's not very conducive to my self-improvement goals.

keep the clothes and ebonics and invest in cocaine. I hear it's a booming industry in Alaska.

Then you're just not trying hard enough...OR, the "you" isn't worth keeping...and you need a "New You."

Learn to speak proper english and you will go far. Everybody is judged by how they speak and look. Better if you could do both, but I'd go for speaking the language properly.

I agree.

when I was working in a noc as a data center tech, I worked with a number of pretty sharp hispanic guys who could really never move beyond where they were within the company because no one would ever put them in a position where they'd have to interact with clients on the phone as a major focus of their job.

i dunno, but it sure has a lot of sarcastic replies, when i'm in need of serious answers.

Right because we can be serious when this is an obvious troll post.

After googling both terms, I'd go for the doorag. According to wikipedia ebonics just means African American culture, and you can't really change that.

Though even the doorag is not THAT bad, sometimes it actually looks good on some people. Though it's probably not considered normal or good in the "professional world" so best to get rid of it if you are applying for a job or what not.
