I'm currently using this Antec NeoPower 480w.

I was thinking about adding another 4850 to my system, and I was wondering if my current PSU would hold up (which I doubt) or whether I need to buy a new one. My system config is an e8400, 4 gigs of ram, asus p5q pro, 4850, 2 SATA HDD's, 2 SATA dvd burners, with nothing overclocked. If I am going to need a new power supply, could you recommend me some? Thanks!

EarthWatts 650W might fit the bill. That's the PSU I chose for my Q6600 and dual 4850 crossfire build. I haven't installed the video cards yet, so I cannot comment for certain if that is enough, but I believe that it is.

It might work, but a new PSU is probably a good idea. I would recommend Corsair VX550.

If it were, say, the EW500 I'd say you're good, but neopower I'm not as sure

You could probably get by with it, but I would certainly recommend a new, quality and efficient 500-600W power supply. I've noticed the BFG LS 550W on Newegg before, and after reading AT's recent PSU roundup, I would definitely recommend this unit since it's also pretty affordable right now, especially after its current rebate.

I've run the Corsair HX620 for SLI myself. It's gotten great reviews from numerous respected sites. At least the earlier models were re-branded Seasonics, which have a loyal following in the quiet/silent computing community (and it is indeed nice and quiet). It also comes with a handy bag for the spare modular cables you don't install, and some black zip ties.

I'm currently running an Enermax Modu 82+ in my main system. It's a little more flexible in it's power connections than the Corsair, but also very highly rated by the silent computing folks I've heard about it from. It comes with a sleeve for the modular cables, as well as some nifty velcro cable tie thingies.

If silence matters to you, might wanna check out www.silentpcreview.com . It's one of the three sites I reference when building, along with Anandtech and HardOCP . Tom's hardware usually has some great info too.

The HX520/620s are still Seasonic. Only on the higher end do Corsair seem to go repeatedly with CWTs, most likely because Seasonic didn't have anything in that segment (Which seems to change a bit with the arrival of the M12D platform). According to some passing comments recently by a Corsair rep, there's new HX models (or at least one) in the works. Which OEM wasn't discussed tho.
